Our workforce development program is designed to equip low-income families with the skills, resources,

Somali Community Action Coalition
The Somali Community Action Coalition is dedicated to empowering the Somali community through initiatives that enhance educational, health, and economic opportunities, emphasizing unity, empowerment, and cultural pride to create a self-sustaining, inclusive, and resilient community. Their mission supports holistic health services, educational advancements, and economic growth, ensuring every community member's voice is heard and valued in decision-making. The organization conducts community needs assessments to tailor services effectively, pools resources to maximize impact, and recruits skilled volunteers to support activities. Programs range from community outreach, increasing awareness and participation, to strategic advocacy efforts influencing policies affecting the community. Additionally, they focus on sustainable funding strategies to ensure financial health and service continuity. By establishing strategic partnerships with local businesses, government agencies, and other NGOs, the coalition leverages collective strengths to provide high-quality, comprehensive services specifically tailored to meet the needs of the Somali community, cultivating a spirit of perseverance and adaptability to thrive in the face of challenges.
